“Glow with the Flow Period Party”
A period party led by SAS is a great way to educate any youth to learn about menstruation. Currently only available in Massachusetts, period parties are provided by our founder, Fiona Almeida, and encompass topics including menstrual hygiene, education, body image and attitudes towards menstruation. Period Parties are a great way to empower young people to become more comfortable and feel at ease with the new changes that are happening with their body.
Each period party is 2.5 hours and includes Period 101 education, activities, and reflections, as well as a period kit for the host.
SAS charges a fee of $200 per party, all proceeds go to SAS’s work to provide education and supplies to youth in communities in need.
