2. How did you get involved with Small Acts for Sustainability?
I was connected with Small Acts for Sustainability through the Albright Institute at Wellesley, where I’m a 2020 Fellow. Fiona was also a fellow at the Albright Institute and reached out to recruit interns for the summer.
3. Why do you believe the work at Small Acts for Sustainability is important?
I believe that empowering and educating girls and women about menstrual hygiene is essential to improving their lives and educational prospects. 4. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Making it through giving a 30 minute presentation to Madeleine Albright!
5. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I hope to continue to work to improve the world and empower those around me.
6. What do you most value in your friends?

I think my determination and resourcefulness are my biggest strengths.
8. Can you tell us about a learning moment in your life?
After my freshman year I decided to take a gap year to reconsider my goals and drives for the future. I think this year was invaluable, not just because of the experiences I had, but because I learned to take time to slow down and consider my next steps before taking them.
9. Why should others get involved with Small Acts for Sustainability?
Small Acts for Sustainability is doing important work for women's empowerment and health. Anyone who is passionate about this work and wants to support small, women-led organizations should get involved with Small Acts for Sustainability.
